Clontarf 1014 Classic Blend
The Independent Irish
Clontarf 1014 Irish Whiskey is named after the famous Battle of Clontarf in 1014. It uses
only the most premium ingredients: barley, maize and the purest Irish spring water.
The blend is a combination of pot-stilled single malt whiskey (approximately 15%) and
column pot stilled grain whiskey. Triple-distilled and filtered through Atlantic Oak
charcoal to provide a pure, clean and distinctive taste. Aged for at least four years in
charred oak bourbon casks. Smooth, approachable and mixable taste.
Color: Medium gold.
Nose: Light aroma of toasted oak wood, with hints of toffee and a back ground maltiness.
Taste: Velvety, lush, mellow and smooth, with subtle hints of vanilla, slight maltiness and notes of toffee. Balanced and
Finish: Long and lingering.
Perfect Serve: Neat, with a dash of water or on the rocks, or combined with ginger beer or ginger ale.
