THE ORIGINAL DECANTER

The decanter is the original reproduction of a metal flask found on the site of the Battle of Jarnac in 1569. Paul Emile Remy Martin bought the metal flask in 1850 and decided to shelter his finest and oldest eaux-de-vie within.

A CENTURY IN A BOTTLELOUIS XIII 3859

100% Grande Champagne. A blend of 1 200 different eaux-de-vie aged up to 100 years. Four generations of cellarmasters have carefully selected and evaluated each eau-de-vie. Aged in rare 100 year-old barrels called “Tierçons”.

TASTING

Generous and warm mahogany colour. Intense first nose delivered by the tierçons. Second impression made of delicate and floral notes such as immortelle. Full third nose, covered by spicy tones such as ginger and nutmeg. “A firework of aromas” with an hour finish on the palate.
